Everything you need to know ahead of your helicopter flight experience with The London Helicopter
Passengers are required to arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled departure time, to allow enough time to check in and be ready for the pre-flight briefing.
All The London Helicopter tours depart from Redhill Aerodrome, Surrey
Redhill Aerodrome is located Kingsmill Lane near the village of South Nutfield and can be easily accessed from the A23 (not M23) and from J8 of the M25
The nearest railway station is Redhill, served by Southern Railway and Thameslink from several London Stations and from Brighton or Gatwick (allow 50 minutes travel time from London + a short taxi ride).
What to bring
For all A2B Heli (Charters) Charter flights you will need to bring photographic identification. Due to limited room on the aircraft we advise you only bring the essentials
On sightseeing flights you will only be able to take your mobile phone (In flight safe mode) and a camera. Bags and bulky coats will need to be left behind. All possessions left behind at the airport are your responsibility
Food and drink
There are no food and drink facilities in The Redhill Helicopter offices. However, there is a public Café approximately 200 metres from the office called The Pilots Hub. Based in Hangar 9, close to the main entrance, it serves hot & cold food, drinks and snacks
