How to get to the Heliport

Please note…

…that there is no parking at the Heliport. We recommend you arrive by public transport or taxi. Or you may find there is some limited parking on the streets nearby, but this cannot be guaranteed

IMPORTANT: please be aware that disruptions do regularly occur to the London public transport system because of engineering work, particularly at the weekend. On the day of your flight, please check on Transport for London’s website for any disruptions. This will help you plan your journey so you arrive at the Heliport in plenty of time for your flight

Rail

The nearest train station to the Heliport is Clapham Junction. It’s a short Taxi ride or a 10-minute walk away. Regular services to and from London Victoria and London Waterloo stations connect with Clapham Junction

Tube

The most accessible Tube stations for the Heliport are Vauxhall, on the Northern and Victoria lines and Sloane Square, on the Circle and District lines. It is too far to walk to the Heliport from any station, but will only take about 15 minutes in a Taxi

Bus

The closest public transport link is the 170 bus, which stops at ‘York Gardens’ on Lombard Road or on ‘Lombard Road’ , just a few steps away from our front door

The 170 bus travels from Danebury Avenue / Minstead Gardens, near Putney Heath, to Victoria bus station, and vice versa. You can check the full route by clicking here

Other information

What to bring with you

Please look at your confirmation email for a list of what to bring with you on the day of your flight. In particular, it’s important you bring the identity documents you used to check in for your flight

We also recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and bring as little as possible in the way of extra items. For the flight, you will only be able to take on-board a camera or mobile phone (in flight safe mode) for taking photographs

All other personal possessions must be left in the lockers at our reception. Please note that although we will do our utmost to keep your possessions secure, all the personal effects you take with you on a flight and leave at the Heliport remain your responsibility

Food and drink

There is no catering available at the reception of The London Helicopter. However, you can visit the restaurants and bars at Hotel Rafayel and Crowne Plaza London Battersea for food and drink, which are located along the river to the east and west of the Heliport
